An application driver was shot on the night of last Thursday (18) in the neighborhood of Barros Filho, north of Rio de Janeiro, after refusing to change the route of the race requested by passengers. The case is being investigated by the 39th Police Station (Pavuna).
According to the victim’s report, the passengers had requested a race to the Pavuna subway station. However, when they arrived at their destination, they asked to be taken to another location, where they would supposedly pay the race. The driver refused the order, claiming that the indicated street was deserted.
The negative began a confusion inside the car. Also according to the driver, one of the passengers pulled a gun and announced the robbery with the vehicle moving. During the body struggle locked inside the car, he was eventually shot.
“They went through normal people, announced the robbery and shot,” said the victim.
Wounded, the driver lost control of the steering and crashed the car. In the escape, the criminals took their cell phone.
The man was initially rescued at Costa Barros UPA and then transferred to Salgado Filho Municipal Hospital in Méier, also in the North Zone. Your health is stable.
The Civil Police continues to investigate the case to identify and locate the perpetrators of the crime.
