Even without the reflection of Petrobras’ adjustment, the average price of gasoline in Brazil increased by R$ 0.11 this week. The fuel is already found at an average price of R$ 6.68/liter at gas stations, according to a survey by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), released this Friday (11).
It is the second consecutive week of high fuel, which was found at R$ 6.57 in the previous bulletin.
The state with the highest average price of gasoline is Bahia, with a liter at R$ 7.69. Amapá registered the cheapest value, with an average of R$ 5.81.
Diesel, which accumulates high for the third consecutive week, was verified at R$ 5.81 per liter, an increase of R$ 0.21 in comparison with the previous survey. The maximum price of fuel was found in the city of Ilhéus, in Bahia, at R$ 7.56.
The state also has the highest average value in the country, with a liter of oil costing R$ 6.98.
Natural Gas Vehicular (CNG) remained stable, with the cubic meter at R$ 4.68, the same price found in the previous week. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), known as cooking gas, registered a drop of BRL 0.22 from one week to another, from BRL 102.64 last week to BRL 102.42 this week.
Ethanol, which had accumulated a drop of 8.1% in the last six weeks, registered an increase. The fuel, derived from sugarcane and corn, was found at an average price of R$4.64, compared to R$4.61 last week.
This Thursday (10), Petrobras announced an increase of R$ 0.44 in the liter of gasoline and of R$ 0.81 in diesel for distributors. With regard to cooking gas, Petrobras’ average sales price for distributors will rise from R$3.86 to R$4.48 per kg, equivalent to R$58.21 per 13kg, reflecting an average readjustment of R$ $0.62 per kg. According to the state-owned company, the measure was taken to balance prices with the international market and avoid shortages.
Several stations have already made readjustments this Friday (11), on the day that the high came into effect for distributors who buy from Petrobras. In Rio de Janeiro, for example, regular gasoline was sold for R$8.30, while drivers found the additive for more than R$10 in an establishment.
THE CNN sought the National Federation of Fuels and Lubricants to understand how the price readjustment is carried out, but still awaits a position.
