Those who enjoy the season of “Ensaios da Anitta” this Saturday (27) are the people from Minas Gerais. For the presentation in Belo Horizonte, Anitta followed the theme of exalting samba schools through costumes and paid homage to Beija-Flor from Nilópolis, 14-time champion of Rio Carnival.
The costume, consisting of a bodysuit, wings, boots and many accessories studded with stones and gold embroidery, is inspired by the Bahian wing of the association to praise the culture of Minas Gerais.
On X, formerly Twitter, the singer detailed her choice. “In 2016, Beija-Flor told the story of an illustrious Minas Gerais native, born in 1973, after whom the famous samba avenue is named: Cândido José de Araújo Viana, the Marquês de Sapucaí,” she said.
“My look today is inspired by all the wealth of the nobles of the time and the magnificent baroque art, also celebrating the culture and history of the state of Minas Gerais”, he added.
There, the association's official profile also thanked the honor.

Guided by the plot “Mineirinho genius! Nova Lima – hometown. Marquês de Sapucaí – the immortal poet”, the school presented a luxurious parade, filled with golden gold.
The Bahian women, at the time, represented the baroque art of Minas Gerais. Despite seeking a second championship, the school ended up taking fifth place.
