THE Angelina Jolie became the central figure in a play street art by the artist aleXsandro Palombo, who praised female power and with a portrait of the famous actress, sent a resounding message about breast cancer prevention.
Angelina Jolie is pictured with scars mastectomy and her image has been adorning since Wednesday morning, one of the central squares of Milan, the Piazza San Babila.
New street art by aleXsandro Palombo titled “Love Yourself”, presented during breast cancer awareness month. The artist in turn wanted to send a strong message, to raise public awareness, to praise the strength and courage of all women, but also to demystify the scars of mastectomy.
Palombo is considered its pioneer social art and started dealing with the genre almost 30 years.
Today he continues his path of research and awareness focusing on pop culture, society, in inequalities, in inclusion, in diversity, in morality and at Human Rights.
In 2015, the same artist tackled this issue again and created a series of works entitled “SURVIVOR”. In this series she portrayed the heroines of the Disney cartoons.
