An unusual place on the body was mentioned a lot during a podcast interview No Name CanE, by presenter Klara Castanho. Actress Ana Hikari said that she receives many messages regarding her armpits and shared that he still gets more compliments on his “armpit” than on his butt, for example.
The presenter started the topic by talking about the aesthetic pressure created on women and commented that 8 out of 10 women feel aesthetically pressured because of their body or hair. Regarding armpits in general, Klara commented that more than 70% of women feel judged by this part of the body and 88% admit to feeling ashamed of this area.
“Your armpit doesn’t have to be perfect, guys”, comments Klara.
Despite the praise, Ana comments that this is proof that a woman’s body is always at the disposal of other people’s judgments. “It’s just another part of our body, and it’s such a small part, so hidden, that if we judge even this part that is hidden in our body, what do we suffer, right? It’s the height of it.”
