Ana Castela ended the year 2023 by performing in the special Roberto Carlos, shown on TV Globo, last Friday (22). After singing two songs alongside “Rei”, “Boiadeira”, which was at the top of retrospectives on digital platforms, she was grateful for the opportunity.
This Saturday morning (23), she revealed her feeling on her social media before going on stage. “I would like to thank all of you who praised me, who sent messages, commented on the videos and reposted them, and went to watch. I also want to thank the people who are speaking badly, thank you, you are engaging”, she began.
“But aside from the jokes, I’m here to say thank you very much. It was really cool, really exciting, I was really nervous. My voice when I entered was very shaky, so I got it in my head 'no, go sing'”, continued Ana Castela.
In the special, the country singer from Mato Grosso do Sul sang one of her hits, “Solteiro Forçado”, and “Como vai Você”, a classic recorded in 1972 by Roberto Carlos. After impressing the Brazilian music veteran, she won several compliments from other artists and thanked him for his affection.
“But it was very beautiful. Roberto is a dear, Boninho was a dear to us. Roberto's band was a dear. The program cuts some parts, right? (…) But thank you to the band, to Roberto, thank you to Boninho and everyone behind it. It was very beautiful”, said Ana Castela. “I won in life.”, she concluded.
The post of the moment on the singer's networks didn't take long to receive a lot of praise. Television director Boninho wrote: “Beautiful!! Thanks”. Country singer Naiara Azevedo also reacted to the presentation: “Perfect!!!!!!!”. Luciano Camargo was the one who was most extensive in praising what he called “two great talents”.

Singer Gustavo Mioto, Ana Castela's boyfriend, also melted when filming the special, which he watched alongside his beloved, and publishing it on his networks.
