Amidst the recording of “Elite”, André Lamoglia talks about his international career

While filming the 7th season of “Elite”, the hit Spanish Netflix series in which he plays Iván Carvalho, André Lamoglia has a routine that consists of not having a routine.

There are days when the actor wakes up at 7 am and arrives home at 8 pm, there is no time to cook, go out with friends or exercise. But there are periods when there are gaps in the schedule, like the day he gave an interview to CNN.

The routine is rushed for a good cause: Lamoglia promises that the 7th season will please the fans. “I was reading a new episode that came out this week that has a lot of tension. I read it on the plane and I was like ‘holy shit’! I even had to take a breath. I really enjoyed it,” she says.

international career

At the age of 25, Lamoglia already has two international experiences under her belt. Among his best-known works is the character Rafael Smor, from the national series “Juacas”, from the Disney Channel.

Afterwards, the Brazilian Luan lived in the 2nd season of the Argentine series “Bia”, also on Disney Channel, in which he had to learn Spanish and move to Buenos Aires.

Even though they were going to offer a language course when they arrived in the country, André wanted to prepare in advance: “I didn’t speak Spanish. I heard I was going to do the job a few months before, so I thought, I’m going to give Spanish a boost on my own,” he says.

“I had already lived in California alone to study, I stayed there for four months, but since I work it was the first time I had the experience of living and working in another country, getting to know another production and how everything works”, he explains. And that also prepared him for this phase in one of the most popular series on Netflix, “Elite”.

Alone in Madrid

André is living a dream, but not without the sacrifice of being away from his family. “I never got used to it, but we are getting more and more calloused about this aspect”, he confesses.

Living abroad, he feels he has matured, but admits that he doesn’t like to be alone, even though he prefers not to share an apartment with anyone.

“I like living alone because when I want to be with someone, I will, and when I need to be alone, that’s also possible”, he explains. “I didn’t like being alone, but I got used to it over time.”

next goals

For the actor, there is much more to conquer and there is no lack of ambition.

“I dream big, I’m not afraid to dream. If the person I have as a reference, who I like the job, is there doing it, why can’t I do it?”, he says. “I just have to train myself for that and go after my goals”.

Among his wishes is to do more projects in Brazil, Spain, and also try the United States.

“Los Angeles is a place that I really dream of reaching. I also want to go back to Brazil and do a cool project because we have really good productions and our country is really different”, she says.

In an interview with CNN, André also spoke about the experience of being recognized in the streets of Madrid and even a perrengue that he went through on his first day on the set of “Elite”.
