The proposal, elaborated in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) will be evaluated by World Heritage Committee composed of 23 countries. The application seeks the recognition of the exceptional universal value, authenticity and integrity of the architectural ensemble.
One dossier Prepared by a technical group, formed by IPHAN, Government of Amazonas, Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economics of Amazonas, Secretariat of Culture of Pará and Secretariats of Culture of the municipalities of Belém and Manaus details the historical and cultural importance of theaters.
