Alvaro Morata on his separation from Alice Campello: “She wanted to stay in Spain, I’m devastated”

The two, who according to gossip have been in crisis for about a year, announced their breakup via social media a few days ago. «After some time of reflection, Alice and I have decided to go our separate ways“, the 31-year-old AC Milan striker wrote in his Instagram stories. Emphasizing that the one with the influencer was “a wonderful relationship, based on mutual respect, in which we loved and helped each other a lot». Morata had therefore invited everyone to «Don’t make up stories to gain a minute of fame because I repeat: there has never been any disrespectjust so many continuous misunderstandings that slowly wear things down». Shortly after, the statement from the 29-year-old influencer also arrived, who confirmed what her husband had said in her Instagram stories. «Álvaro and I have decided to separate and it is the most difficult decision we have made in our lives.. I want to clarify, as he did, that there were no third parties or any kind of disrespect on the part of either (…) We couldn’t have loved each other more, and we continue to do so, but there comes a time when many misunderstandings accumulate and are poorly managed and things gradually break and explode.”

On their first night as ex-spouses, however, the footballer and the influencer seemed to have second thoughts. In fact, she, denying via Instagram a gossip magazine that had attributed to Morata a betrayal lasting more than a year, had written: «I will never tire of repeating and swearing on everything I have that there is no disrespect nor any third person… There are dynamics of ours that will remain the same that have consumed us… (important depressions, moments of strong tension of the European Championship, millions of personal situations). If there were third parties I would not put my face so many times and I would never talk about him like that. He does not deserve all the crap that is being said.
