the show of DJ Alok This Saturday (26) on Copacabana beach, in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro, there will be a free event to celebrate the centenary of the Copacabana Palace hotel. The sequence of presentations is scheduled to start at 8 pm and is expected to end at 10:30 pm. The date will also be a moment of celebration for the artist, who will complete 32 years.
Alok will perform on top of a revolving stage with a 360° opening, in the shape of a pyramid, almost 30 meters high – equivalent to an 8-story building -, in addition to hundreds of LED panels that will interact with lasers and lights during the course of the presentation.
One of the highlights of the performance will be the homage to samba from Rio, as 12 samba schools from the Rio Carnival Special Group will play with Alok.
In addition to sound, the show will have fireworks synchronized with the music. The event, which is being called in the city “New Year’s Eve out of season” will have lighting with drones also synchronized with the music.
