The all-wheel drive version of the popular crossover Chery Tiggo 8 Pro is ready for sales in Russia after the local representative office of the company has certified this version of the car.
In the Rosstandart database, the Vehicle Type Approval for the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro has changed, and we learned that the all-wheel drive version of the car will receive the most powerful engine of those installed on cars of this line in Russia. It is a 2.0-liter turbocharged SQRF4J20 direct injection engine with 197 hp. The maximum torque will be 375 Nm already from 2000 rpm. At the same time, the engine still runs on 92-octane gasoline. In addition, a new 7DCT 738DHA robotic gearbox will be installed. It is worth noting that in China, all-wheel drive vehicles are equipped with a 254-horsepower engine.
Presumably, this version will receive all the options of the top configuration of Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Ultimate, in particular, a package of “smart” ADAS options. The sale of the car will take place in the near future.
So far, Chery Tiggo 8 Pro is available in Russia in a front-wheel drive version with a 2-liter engine producing 170 hp. and a 1.6-liter 186-horsepower engine at a price of 2 to 2.45 million rubles.
