All the power of the small is revealed at the Volvo Studio Milano

Volvo Studio Milan it is not a dealership nor a show-room of cars. It is rather a space with a typical Scandinavian flavor in which to take time. For those who understand the importance of taking even just a moment to reflect, Volvo offers various ideas that vary from year to year. Suggestions that are most often of an artistic nature related to one's own values and a more careful concept of mobility.

This year the macro theme concerns dimension and the correlation. «Being small does not mean being weak, because it is the small steps that make great journeys» an aphorism that could go unnoticed if it weren't for the fact that it was uttered by Chiara Angeli responsible for commercial operations and activities in Volvo Car Italia Volvo Studio. Yes, because if the Göteborg company has always accustomed its customers to very large cars, let's remember the 5 meter length of the EX90, the latest creation and front car of 2024 is the EX30, the smallest car ever made by Volvo: just 4 meters and 23 centimetres.

A car that debuted in Italy, in the brand new spaces of Porta Nuova with the claim Small is mighty: the power of the small capable of producing great effects. That's why within the 2024 season of Volvo Studio, the multifunctional space dedicated to pop culture, the Italian headquarters of the Swedish manufacturer asked its partners to develop proposals in which the small is the key element. Since its opening in 2017, Volvo Studio Milano has, in fact, become the showcase for an intense collaboration between various cultural partners.

Chiara Angeli, Head of Commercial Operations Volvo Car Italia and responsible for the activities of the Volvo Studio.

«This year Volvo Studio Milano turns seven, and frankly, thinking seven years ago that we would have managed to organize a press conference to tell everything that would have happened inside the Volvo Studio for an entire season is a great satisfaction» he confides Michele Crisci, managing director by Volvo Car Italia. A calendar that has been built year after year through the union of many entities close in terms of values to the Swedish brand: from the publishing house La Nave Di Teseo Editore to the Riccardo Catella foundation with his BAM Tree Library Milan. And then there Triennale Milano TeatroThe Ponderosa Music&Art and the BASE Milan.

A heterogeneous set of entities and activities capable of influencing each other: a entanglement one could say, stealing an expression dear to quantum physics, in which the condition of correlating many small expressions ofbe small becomes the focus of every activity. Part of the program will be dedicated to young emerging realities who, precisely because they are small, find the strength to grow in relationships with others.
