All subway and train lines operate this Wednesday (4) after a day of strike in SP

After subway and railway workers decided to end the 24-hour strike in the rail transport system, all subway and train lines are in operation in the capital of São Paulo and the metropolitan region.

The operation began at 4:40 am. According to the Metro, the Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM) and the concessionaires that operate the private lines, the operation is normal this Wednesday (4).

The following are in operation:

  • Line 1–Blue (Metro)
  • Line 2–Green (Metro)
  • Line 3–Red (Metro)
  • Line 4–Yellow (metro/ViaQuatro)
  • Line 5–Lilac (metro/ViaMobilidade)
  • Line 7–Rubi (CPTM)
  • Line 8–Diamante (train/ViaMobilidade)
  • Line 9–Esmeralda (train/ViaMobilidade)
  • Line 10–Turquoise (CPTM)
  • Line 11-Coral (CPTM)
  • Line 12–Sapphire (CPTM)
  • Line 13–Jade (CPTM)
  • Line 15–Silver (Metro)

Rotation returns

Vehicle rotation comes back into force this Wednesday (4) with the end of the strike.

Circulation in the expanded center of the capital of São Paulo is restricted to vehicles with final license plate 5 or 6.

On Tuesday (3), with a strike and no rail transport, the city experienced 767 kilometers of slow traffic during the night.
