Team Avalanche
on my blog announced a partnership with Alibaba Cloud, a cloud computing subsidiary of the Alibaba Group. Cloudverse is designed to be a virtual space for businesses and brands:
“Alibaba has announced the entrance to the metaverse on Avalanche! With Cloudverse, millions of Alibaba Cloud customers will be able to easily deploy their own virtual spaces and unlock new opportunities for consumers.”
The metaverse itself will be designed by Avalanche in collaboration with the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) Metaverse Union of Architects. Alibaba Cloud will provide the project with its server capacities.
Avalanche says that within a month of launch, users will be able to create their own spaces in the new metaverse.
At the end of March 2023, Chinese tech giant Alibaba announced that it would set up a lab in Japan to train blockchain developers.
