Since Aleks Syntek expressed his disapproval of reggaeton, he has been involved in controversy when expressing his opinion on any topic. The Mexican singer not only said that he does not like operated or produced women, he also asked for fines for establishments that play music of the urban genre, comments that have made him viral on social networks on more than one occasion.
A couple of days ago, he again caused a stir on the Internet, but this time it was for a great achievement, as he received a Ph.D. honorary cause from the World Organization of Leaders (OMLID), who recognized him for his great musical legacy in Mexico.
Proud to receive such great recognition, on August 28, the Yucatecan singer-songwriter shared some photos on his official Twitter account, in which he can be seen with a diploma in his hands, as well as a short video of the exact moment in which they deliver said document.
After being praised for being part of the Board of Directors of the Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico and being one of the most important icons of Mexican pop in recent years, the members of the OMLID decided to award the interpreter of Love hurts for his great musical career and his transcendent contributions to the country and humanity.
