A new movie described as a “Dark and supernatural rereading” From the classic story of the character Aladdin was announced. The information was shared by the US portal Deadline and confirmed by the protagonist actor of the production Ricky Norwood (“The Princess and the Plebey: New Adventure”) on social networks.
According to the portal, the plot tells about a modern London, named Aladdin, who inherits a former monkey paw that is believed to come true, just to find that each wish has a very high price. As everyone around him are victims of a curse, he must face a growing evil – and the demonic force that feeds on each desire fulfilled.
Production will begin to be filmed at the end of May this year. There is no scheduled debut date yet.
The film will be directed by Bradley Stryker, who acted in “Terrifier 3”.
At Deadline, he said the movie “will be a lot of fun.” “It’s all about the ups and downs of what we consider our dreams and desires… and then we put it in a movie of this genre where bets were never so diabolical and fun.”
