Victim of aggression last Sunday (13), activist and communicator Iza Potter attended, on the morning of Tuesday (15), to the 5th Police District of São Paulo, in the neighborhood of Acclimation, to recognize the perpetrator of the aggressions.
After the case surfaced, the trans woman found the social networks of whom she claims to be “without a doubt” the man who has punched her after insisting on not leaving her condominium.
In a statement, the Secretary of Public Security (SSP) of São Paulo said that the investigations of the case continue and carries out steps to identify the author as well as clarify all the circumstances of the event. The case is investigated as bodily injury.
CNN tries to contact the aggressor and did not located him until the publication of this matter.
Remember the case
According to Iza, she met the aggressor when returning from an event and invited him to climb to the apartment. After the sexual meeting, the man would have refused to leave the place, was violent and accused her of stolen her cell phone.
In the images recorded by security cameras, you can see the moment Iza accompanies the aggressor until the exit of the condominium, around 5:36 am. The man hugs her, she pushes him away and they argue for less than a minute.
The aggressions begin when the activist tries to return to the condominium. She runs to the lobby and tries to close the door, but the man grabs his shirt. See below:
Even naked and on the floor, the woman has her hair pulled in an attempt to be prevented from leaving the place while screaming for help. The images still show that the man punches Iza’s face.
In videos released on her social networks, the influencer appears with bruises on her face. She states that the perpetrator already mentioned the loss of the device before they even entered the property.
The Military Police were fired and the perpetrator fled before the arrival of the vehicles.
The victim was oriented regarding the deadline for criminal representation against the perpetrator and IML tests were requested, according to the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP).
