The star of “Stranger Things” , Noah Schnapp , 19 years old, used social media on Monday night (15) to clarify his position in relation to the conflict between Israel and Hamas. According to the actor, his thoughts and beliefs have been misinterpreted.
“I just want peace, safety and protection for all the innocent people affected by this conflict. I had a lot of discussions with friends from Palestine who were behind the scenes and I think these conversations are very important and I learned a lot,” she said.
“I think anyone with a modicum of humanity would expect an end to hostility on both sides. I am against any murder of innocent people and I hope all of you do too. And I just hope one day to see these two groups able to live together harmoniously in that region,” he continued.
“And I hope that in 2024 online we see people being a little more understanding and compassionate and recognizing that we are all human, regardless of our race, our ethnicity, our origin, our country of birth, our sexuality, whatever. ”, he concluded.

Just days after Hamas invaded Israel in October, Noah Schnapp shared a video alongside friends in a moment of relaxation displaying pro-Israel stickers. In another publication, in which the actor was tagged, he appears laughing sitting with his friends, who display stickers with the phrases “Zionism is sexy” and “Hamas is ISIS (Islamic State)”.
After the two episodes, Schnapp , who is Jewish, was the target of criticism on the internet. Internet users classified the attitude as disrespectful.
