In treatment for bowel cancer, singer Preta Gil used Instagram, this Friday (21), to update fans and followers about her health condition.
Away from social media, the artist said she ended up in the hospital after an anxiety attack. According to the publication, she would have felt bad on Thursday (20) and, as a precaution, sought medical help.
“To my loves, yes yesterday I had a bad feeling and as a precaution I went to the hospital. It was a severe anxiety attack. Only those who have had it know what I’m talking about. It is very unpleasant”, began the daughter of Gilberto Gil.
Afterwards, Preta also informed that, after being medicated, she was released. “I didn’t have to stay at the clinic. I was medicated by my psychiatrist and discharged,” she added.
Finally, the singer also said that she is already in Maranhão to celebrate the birthday of her sister, Marina. “I’m here living, which is the best medicine. One day at a time!”, she ended.

At the beginning of the year, Preta Gil, 48 years old, revealed that she was diagnosed with bowel cancer and, since then, has been undergoing an attempt to treat the disease.
“I have been hospitalized for the last 6 days at Clínica São Vicente, in Rio de Janeiro, due to a discomfort that I had been feeling and thank God, today I received a definitive diagnosis. I have an adenocarcinoma in the final portion of the intestine”, she said at the time.
In April, the singer suffered a condition of sepsis which, in short, means a generalized infection that can spread quickly and cause harmful impacts on various organs.
“On the 23rd, I experienced septicemia, septic shock, caused by a bacteria that entered my body. There are a few possibilities for this bacteria to have entered my system. The most latent, the one that the doctors think it might have been, was through my catheter, where I was undergoing chemotherapy. They think it might have been that way,” reported Preta.
