Spirit Airlines flight passengers had an adventure in Atlanta of the US last Sunday morning when the plane’s brakes overheated and caught fire. Flames can be seen at the bottom of the plane, according to videos posted on social media.
As can be seen in videos circulating on social media, the aircraft’s brakes caught fire, resulting in panic.
“Spirit Flight 383 from Tampa to Atlanta landed safely at Atlanta International Airport and during landing one of the brakes overheated,” a spokesperson said.
“The aircraft was diverted to the gate where the guests disembarked safely without injury.”
