Working eight hours a day is not always easy – especially when there is no time left for a social life, to take care of the house, cooking, let alone have fun!
An American named Brielle, a recent graduate, faced a huge reality check when she started a 9am to 5pm job and ended up going viral on social media.
Crying, the young woman says that it takes an hour to commute from home to work and vice versa and, when she gets home, she doesn’t even have the energy to make her own dinner.
“I’m probably just being dramatic and annoying, but this is my first job out of college,” he said.
“I don’t have the energy to work out, that’s not an option. I’m really upset, the hours from 9am to 5pm are crazy.”
In the comments, many people identified with the American and criticized the culture of working from 9am to 5pm, in addition to defending the idea of four working days a week.
But other people complained about the outburst: “Imagine ONLY working from 9 to 5 and complaining about life”, said a follower.
