ADP employment report shows first increase in jobs since February

The Canadian Labor Market Report prepared by ADP showed an increase in employment from October to November of 40,800. The data is the first positive figure since February of this year.

In October, recorded a drop in employment of 383,500. The data was revised from an initial decline of 79,500.

The report had no impact on the loonie. Although it is a reference to the state of the labor market, it still has significant reviews every month, which makes it less relevant.
