Adolescents who mutilated animals in Lives are targets of police operation

The civil police of Minas Gerais and Rio Grande do Norte perform on the morning of Wednesday (16) an operation against a group of teenagers who mutilated and even killed animals during internet broadcasts.

The agents fulfill three search and seizure warrants and two of provisional hospitalizations against adolescents in Belo Horizonte (MG), Ponte Nova (MG) and Açu (RN).

In the seizures were found notebook, cell phone and a copy of the book “History of Wars: Special Hitler Dossier” with one of the targets.

The investigation revealed a scenario that investigators call “disturbing”: live broadcasts (live) on social networks with explicit self -mutilation content, torture to animals and hate speeches, used as a form of expression of extreme violence and stimulation of youth radicalization.

The investigation is done in partnership with the Cyber ​​Operations Laboratory (Ciberlab), the Ministry of Justice’s Integrated and Intelligence Directorate.

Police action is supported by the National Secretariat of Public Security, which warns of the growth of dangerous digital practices involving young people in a situation of emotional and psychic vulnerability.

On Tuesday (15), another operation of the ministry with the Rio de Janeiro Civil Police aimed a criminal group that uses social networks and messages of messages to disseminate content of extremism, hatred and incentive for collective self-mutilation among adolescents.

The focus was also the repression of criminal practices that endangered vulnerable young people in various regions of the country.
