The new NSRF will be announced on June 16 in Kalamata, as underlined by the Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis at the event of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (ESEE) “Future of Retail 2022. Innovation and E-Commerce”.
The Minister noted that the new programs of the new NSRF will finance actions for the digital and green economy, which can be used by both trade and small and medium enterprises.

The minister added that the first programs will start in the summer and the disbursements at the beginning of the new year.
Mr. Georgiadis also stressed that “there will be no intermediate discounts again, they were the last ones”, as the amendment concerning the abolition of the intermediate discounts will be submitted in June.
In general, regarding the course of the economy, he noted that Greece is now in the first place, among the EU countries, in the absorption of the NSRF, constantly expanding its distance from the second “and we intend to continue with these very fast absorption rates “as he added.
He added that through the NSRF and together with the Recovery Fund, sufficient resources are provided “a shield for entrepreneurship against the great risk of inflation, food shortages, climate change, energy costs and those who affect us, whether we like it or not.” “.
He also noted that “inflation is not a Greek, but a global phenomenon, however our country stands better than many others and we will be in the first places for growth in the EU and in 2022 and 2023 we will have even marginally positive growth rates “as tourism and investment go well.”
On the future of retail, he stressed that it is changing form rapidly, adding that the online store will not be able to replace the physical one, but will help it improve, reduce costs, make economies of scale and ultimately if combined. the two sides to develop more.
Concluding his speech, the minister noted: “Many accuse me of dealing with large investments and even go for a record of 25 years; but we do not have illusions, all this is important, but it is a subset of the dynamics that can mobilize small and medium enterprises “Our goal is not only for the media to survive, but also to flourish.”
For his part, the president of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship, George Karanikas, noted that the green and digital transformation is widening the gap between large and small, while funding remains a thorn for small and medium-sized businesses and called for targeted resources for both sectoral and regional small commercial enterprises.
