AD Digital Design Week kicks off

After the success of the April 2021 edition, from 5 to 10 September 2021 AD Digital Design Week returns: a schedule of digital content dedicated to design, and more, which in its first edition recorded over 38K visits and 76K page views in less than a week, with a social total reach that exceeded 3.5 million and over 227K total views.

A digital initiative conceived in conjunction with the Supersalone, the new 2021 Special event Salone del Mobile.Milano which sees a new format and the direction of the new president Maria Porro with an exceptional curator, the architect Stefano Boeri.

This is one of the first major public events organized after the pandemic not only in Italy but in the world.

For the occasion, AD Italia has thought of a rich digital program dedicated to the fifty-ninth edition of the Salone to tell the news of the last 18 months. Daily reports, videos, IG Live and takeover in real time are just some of the tools that AD Italia will use to tell the most awaited event and the city of Milan, which has always hosted it. Every day an online reportage on the AD.it website will tell the best of the days of Milan Design Week 2021. Previews, news, events, installations and trends in real time: the contents collected during the week will be shared with many of the international digital editions of Architectural Digest.

The goal is a synergistic narrative with an increasingly global breath, capable of communicating projects and products to consumers and professionals from all over the world. And again: do not miss the videos AD Confidential on the Instagram profile of AD Italia (@ad_italia) where the protagonists of the design world will tell us about the most significant projects: from Nina Yashar of Nilufar to Rossana Orlandi, passing through Luisa delle Piane, Dimorestudio, Cristina Celestino and Studiopepe. As usual, there will be direct Instagram shows with designers and architects: from Piero Lissoni to India Mahdavi, from Paola Navone to Konstantin Grcic, up to Sara Ricciardi and Matteo Thun, just to name a few.

Also on the occasion of the Supersalone, AD Italia and Vogue Italia join Cassina, an icon brand of Made in Italy design, in an unprecedented experiential and digital initiative, to investigate the creative processes that lead to the birth of something unique and out of the ordinary. Two tables of comparison live on Instagram, with four guests protagonists of different fields – fashion, art, acting and architecture – will give life to the Digital Day Out Of Ordinary inspired by the revolutionary design of Soriana, the model created by Afra and Tobia Scarpa, winner of the Compasso d’Oro in 1970. The appointment is for 10 September at 2:00 pm with Massimo Giorgetti and Milovan Farronato, together with Sara Sozzani Maino of Vogue Italia and Alessandra Pellegrino of AD Italia. The appointment at 6.30 pm will instead host the confrontation between Bianca Felicori and Giuseppe Dave Seke, with Elena Dallorso of AD Italia and Italo Pantano of Vogue Italia.
