Actress Klara Castanho published on her social networks the conclusion of the 130km pilgrimage to the National Sanctuary of Aparecida, in the interior of São Paulo.
Klara made the journey with an uncle and friends. The walk began on the 4th of January and ended on the 8th, when they arrived at the Basilica of Aparecida.
In a publication, he said that the route they took for the “Caminho da Fé”, started in Paraisópolis, south of Minas Gerais, passed through Campos do Jordão, Pedrinhas — in São Paulo — until arriving in Aparecida.
On her Instagram profile she posted: “I am very grateful to Nossa Senhora Aparecida for welcoming me, for listening to my anxieties and supplications. Faith in her and in God strengthens me. They make me hold my head high and give me the strength to fight.”
She also recorded a video with a diary of the pilgrimage, showing the places where she went, the cities she visited. The actress spoke about the challenges of walking so many kilometers, the physical pain she felt, the fatigue and how much she learned throughout the pilgrimage.
“And for those who want to do the Path of Faith, I want to say that it is an intense and transforming experience. There will be times when you doubt your ability to move forward, but you can. You grow stronger in your faith.”
