Actor Russell Brand has been accused by many women of rape and sexual assault

The British actor Russell Brand accused of rape, sexual assaults and psychological abuse by many women between 2006 and 2013, according to a three-media survey published today.

Four women have accused the actor of sexual assaults when Russell Brand was at the height of his career as a presenter on BBC Radio 2, Channel 4 and as a Hollywood film actor.

The allegations, which he denies, were revealed in an investigation carried out by The Sunday Times and The Times newspapers, as well as Channel 4.

According to the survey, published by the Sunday Times, the other women accuse Brad of domineering and abusive behavior.

Russell Brand: The Complaints of 4 Women

The four women’s complaints against Russell Brand concern the period from 2006 to 2013. During this time, the actor’s career was at its peak, working with BBC Radio 2, Channel 4 and starring in Hollywood films.

One of the four women alleges that Russell Brand raped her at his home in Los Angeles. That same day she visited a center for raped women. The Times notes that it has seen the medical records that attest to this.

The newspaper also reports that this woman sent a message to the actor, in which she wrote that he scared her and that she felt he had taken advantage of her. “When a girl says no, she means no“, he emphasized to him. Russell Brand reportedly told her he was “very sorry”.

Another complainant told the newspaper that had a relationship with the actor when she was 16 and he was 31. The woman said she suffered emotional abuse during their three-month relationship and that he once “forced his penis into her mouth”.

The third complainant said Russell Brand sexually assaulted her and that she suffered physical and emotional abuse by the actor. The fourth alleged that he sexually assaulted her when they were working together in Los Angeles and then threatened to take legal action against herif he was talking to someone.

Many more women accuse Russell Brand of emotional and physical abuse, sexual harassment and bullying, the Times reports, noting that the four who decided to speak publicly did not know each other.

During his career as a television and film comedian, in the United Kingdom and then the United States, Russell Brand was noted for his repeated deviance, his addiction to alcohol and heroin, his brief marriage to the singer of pop Katy Perry and his penchant for boasting about his plethora of amorous conquests.

In the mid-2010s, he became an anti-capitalist activist seeking “total revolution” and has recently gained prominence for his conspiracy, anti-vaccination theories and attacks on the mainstream media from his 6 million-subscriber YouTube channel and his Twitter account with 11 million followers.

Now he calls on his audience to remain “alert and free” against the information transmitted by traditional media.

Russell Brand’s whistleblowing video

Before the very serious allegations against him came to light, Russell Brand uploaded a video on social media. In it, he categorically denied the “very serious allegations” against him, without clarifying what exactly they are about.

In the video, Russell Brand said he received emails from a television network and a newspaper “with extremely outrageous attacks” against him and “very serious allegations” against him, which he “absolutely denies.” Those emails were the communication the Times and Channel 4 had with him, asking him to take a stand on the allegations before publishing them, a standard tactic of investigative journalists.

The 48-year-old actor denies the claims, pointing out that we have seen coordinated attacks on the media in the past, referring to Joe Rogan. He insisted that all of his relationships during what he describes as a “promiscuous” period in his life were consensual..

These claims relate to the time when I was constantly in newspapers and cinema. And as I have written about at length in my books I was very very naughty. Now during that period of promiscuity the relationships I had were completely consensual“, he noted characteristically.

I was always transparent about it then, almost too transparent. And I’m transparent about that even now. To see transparency being turned into something criminal, I absolutely refuse».
