A woman is accused of “stalking” the president of the British Museum, George Osborne

A British woman has been accused of persistently stalking former British Chancellor of the Exchequer and current chairman of the British Museum, George Osborne, and his wife for more than a year, according to court documents. Lydia Suffield, 27, will appear at London’s Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday accused of persistently stalking Osborne, Chancellor of the Exchequer from 2010 to 2016, and Thea Rogers between 8 June 2022 and 5 July 2023. Emails and messages on Instagram According to the indictment, Suffield, from the Liverpool, sent emails and Instagram messages to the couple and “made false referrals to the NSPCC”, a children’s charity. No further details about the alleged offense are available. Suffield was unavailable for comment.
