A pop museum satirizes German bureaucracy

Germany is notorious for its bureaucracy. One of the government's key commitments was to limit the number of existing laws. But many believe that the new legislation to be approved by the parliament at the end of June is not enough. INSM, a market economy think tank, has created a pop museum dedicated to the problem of bureaucracy and specifically designed to put pressure on the German government. “Bureaucracy exists in all countries. But in Germany as a business location it is now the number one disadvantage – more than taxation and energy costs,” says Torsten Alsleben, managing director at INSM, adding that bureaucracy alone is a reason for 58% of businesses not to invest in the country.
