According to the judge, Craig Wright's testimony was of extremely dubious significance, was circumstantial, and based on documents that he deliberately falsified.
James Mellor believes that the self-proclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto is responsible for creating the fake documents. The judge emphasized that Craig Wright deliberately lied repeatedly in his testimony.
“Dr. Wright is not the person who operated under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto between 2008 and 2011. He has nothing to do with the person who created the Bitcoin network. It is clear that Wright intentionally created false documents to support false claims and used the courts as a means of fraud,” the judge said.
Facts of perjury and falsification of documents may be referred to the UK prosecutor's office. The Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) has expressed its willingness to seek injunctive relief to further prevent Wright from impersonating Satoshi Nakamoto.
In turn, Craig Wright said that he would appeal the court's decision and expressed confidence that he was right.
Previously, a Bitcoin follower known by the pseudonym Hodlonaut won a final victory in the case against Craig Wright, who proclaimed himself Satoshi Nakamoto.
