5 months pregnant, Isabel Veloso resumes cancer treatment

The influencer Isabel Veloso 18, resumed his cancer treatment this Thursday (17). Five months pregnant she recently discovered that her Hodgkin lymphoma tumor it grew again and therefore, he resumed chemotherapy.

On her social networks, she shared that the treatment will be carried out weekly and even posted a video while receiving the medication. With a photo of the medicine, she wrote: “Take care of my son, Jesus.”

At the beginning of this month, she shared that she would resume treatment. The influencer had stopped taking treatments for the cancer she has had since she was 15, becoming a terminal patient — with a life expectancy of six months — and then palliative care.

At the time, she explained that the progression of the cancer does not pose a risk to her life or that of her baby, but, even so, she decided to undergo treatment again.

The news that her tumor had grown again was revealed by her husband, Lucas Borbas, on social media. “Today, the new report showed that the tumor, which is not part of my wife, but is in her, has grown in some worrying places and as we are waiting for Arthur it makes us even more worried,” he said.

According to the National Cancer Institute (Inca), Hodgkin’s lymphoma is a type of cancer that originates in the lymphatic system — made up of organs and tissues that produce the cells responsible for immunity and the vessels that carry these cells through the body.
