Today, on April 23, representatives of the 2GIS cartographic service held a presentation, during which they talked about various innovations that will make users’ lives easier and more comfortable.

The company representatives said that the feedback system is really important for users, as it is a convenient tool for finding a suitable establishment or service among hundreds of offers, but the visitor of the establishment does not always want to write this review. To simplify this tool and make it even more useful, the developers have come up with a check-in system – a user can scan a QR code in an establishment, after which the application will automatically mark that this person was here. And this mark will be shown in the application to the user’s friends. But the developers did not stop there – they introduced an automatic check-in system.
The fact is that scanning a QR code is also an additional action that a service client, for example, does not always want to do. And in order to make life easier for the user, while receiving maximum benefit, the developers of 2GIS will cooperate with Sber’s subsidiary Evotor, which is engaged in the creation of cash registers. These devices have a necessary module that will automatically mark the user’s visit to a certain institution as soon as a person with a smartphone enters the range of this device.
That is, a person visits a car service, the cash register registers a check-in, and in the 2GIS cards the user’s friends will see that he has visited this car service, which means that he can be trusted or you can call a friend to find out the details.
