The series “Sex and the City” premiered 26 years ago, on June 6, 1998. To mark the series’ anniversary, the writer of the book on which the production is based published photos from the filming of the first season.
The author Candace Bushnell 64, used her social media to share a carousel of photos from the first episodes of the Carrie Bradshaw saga, played by Sarah Jessica Parker .
“What night! ‘Sex and the City’ premiered 26 years ago on June 6, 1998 and we had a blast!” Bushnell on her official Instagram profile.
In the images, it is possible to see records of the series’ official quartet at the event. The plot stars Sarah Jessica Parker , Kristin Davis , Kim Cattrall It is Cynthia Nixon .

“Sex and the City” is based on the author’s 1997 book, which had the same name as the series and was written inspired by her column in “The New York Observer”.
