“20 Days in Mariupol”: Oscar-nominated documentary gets release date

Nominated for Oscar in the category of Best Feature Documentary, “20 Days in Mariupol” It already has a date to arrive in Brazilian cinemas. From day March 7 the public will be able to check out the work of a group of Ukrainian journalists recording the Russian invasion of the city of Mariupol.

Highly acclaimed at the Sundance Festival, the film was directed by Mstyslav Chernov winner of the Pulitzer Prize for coverage of the attack portrayed in the production.

With a harrowing narrative, the documentary promises to be a great cinematic experience, following the journey of the professionals who recorded the horrors of the Russian invasion, from the bombing of a maternity hospital to the reports of a Ukrainian police officer.

With more than 20 awards at international festivals, the production still has 100% critical approval on Rotten Tomatoes.
