An increase of 12.1% on an annual basis, i.e. compared to the corresponding month of 2021, was recorded by the General Index of Retail Trade in Greece in June 2022, according to the data announced on Wednesday by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).
On a monthly basis, i.e. in relation to the corresponding index of May 2022, the increase was of the order of 15.2%.
The seasonally adjusted General Business Cycle Index, in June 2022, compared to the corresponding index in May 2022, showed an increase of 4.3%
And the General Volume Index (turnover at constant prices), during June 2022, compared to the corresponding index of June 2021, showed an increase of 1.2% and compared to the corresponding index of May 2022, an increase of 11.6%.
The seasonally adjusted General Volume Index, during June, compared to the corresponding index in May 2022, showed an increase of 1.8%.
